The direct-to-consumer specialty retailer maintains an extensive catalog of quality bakeware, cookware, cutlery, and kitchen tools and utensils. Having acquired the Colorado Springs company in 2004, JH Partners held the company for nearly a decade before selling its shares to retail leader Target Corp.
Following the completion of the acquisition, Target announced its intention to keep CHEFS Catalog under the existing brand name. The company was to become part of a new, wholly owned Target subsidiary, in tandem with Cooking.com, that was created to address the expanding culinary and kitchenware markets.
